On October 2, Eastern European Programs Manager Dr. Ekaterina Klüh from Saarland University met with RAU students.
During the info session, Dr. Klüh elaborated on the exchange opportunities, available academic programs, visa and travel arrangements, tuition, etc.
Saarland is located in the south-west of Germany in the heart of Europe. It is the smallest of Germany’s federal states and shares borders with France and Luxembourg. Saarbrücken is the capital city of Saarland and with a population of around 180 000 it is the economic and cultural centre of the region. The main campus at Saarland University is situated just outside Saarbrücken in a pleasant setting with surrounding woodland.
RAU student in Linguistics Tatev Galoyan, who spent the 2017/2018 summer semester at Saarland University, shared her impressions about studying there, “I couldn't imagine a better experience than the one I had in Saarbrücken. I'm so thankful for the four amazing months of self-development, making friends from all over the world, fascinating sights and aesthetic pleasure, travelling, laughs and warm memories. Professors of Saarland University and the staff from the international students help center were of great help, so we adapted quickly”.
Dr. Ekaterina Klüh also met with RAU Department of International Cooperation and together they designed ways for future educational cooperation.
