Prague Summer Schools (PSS) are seven-day academic programs designed to bring together undergraduate and graduate students of various backgrounds to enjoy their summer holidays in a unique academic and cultural environment.

For its 15th edition, PSS offers the following programs:
The program fee for students who submit their applications after January 31st: 790 EUR
The program fee covers:
- Tuition and reading materials
- Accommodation in double rooms for one week
- Half board which includes breakfasts, dinners and coffee breaks
- Prague public transportation tickets and maps
- Site visits, social program, and cultural and special events (e.g. boat tour on the Moldau River, tours of Prague by a local homeless and farewell dinner).
Students are responsible for their travel to Prague, lunches and personal expenses. The individual deadlines for the receipt of payment will be stated in the official letter of acceptance. Payment plans can be arranged. The final deadline for receiving payments is May 1.
Students will be staying in double rooms at the accommodation facilities located at venue of the Prague Summer Schools or Hotel Ametyst, both ten minutes from the Prague city centre. The Hotels are situated in Vinohrady, a beautiful part of Prague, next to the historical heart of the city. Students will have an easy access to the Old Town by inexpensive metropolitan transport system (bus, tram or metro) or by taxi. Each room is equipped with a shower, WC, satellite TV, Internet connection and telephone.
PSS has been organized for the past decade by NGO SCHOLA EMPIRICA, an independent, non-governmental, non-profit organization, registered with the Czech Ministry of Interior and educational institution accredited by the Czech Ministry of Education.
