The Department also runs seminars on Stochastic Geometry led by Professor R.Aramyan.
International Cooperation
The Department closely collaborates with Russian, European and American research centers.
Issues related to spherical tomography are explored in cooperation with the University of Texas at Arlington. The Department also collaborates with Friedrich Schiller University Jena and Freiberg University of Mining and Technology in Germany and with University of Bern in Switzerland. The direction of Financial Mathematics Econometrics has a close connection with Russian universities. In particular, the Department cooperates with Steklov Institute of Mathematics in Russia with a focus on algebra.
