Delegation from Nazarbayev University Visited RAU
On March 6, Russian-Armenian University hosted the delegation from Nazarbayev University’s Graduate School of Public Policy (GSPP), Kazakhstan, headed by the GSPP Dean Dr. Weng Tat Hui.
RAU Vice-Rector for Science, Prof. Pargev Avetisyan, greeted the guests with words of welcome, highlighting that RAU is open for collaboration in research and education at all levels.
The representatives of Nazarbayev University introduced their academic programs, research interests, values and partners. They elaborated on Master's in Public Policy, Master's in Public Administration and Ph.D. in Public Policy. Dr. Weng Tat Hui noted that their industry-oriented programs offer professional training with skills and knowledge directly applicable in the workplace.
In their turn, the executive team of Russian-Armenian University presented university's key research topics in social sciences, economics and political science.
Nazarbayev University, a modern and rapidly developing university, is located in Astana, Kazakhstan’s capital. Nazarbayev University (NU) was founded by the first President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev. The University is an English-medium institution, with an international faculty and staff, which strives to combine education, research and innovation. It embraces several schools, which offer academic programs across social sciences, humanities, technologies and engineering.
