According to Nasim, her work touched upon the motives and reasons for the Yezidis to join the religious group of Jehovah's Witnesses, “The Yezidi identity is a highly debated issue. They represent a unique self-identity due to the ethnic and confessional nature of their community. And today, given the religious conversion of the Yezidis, we witness a transformation of their self-identity”.
