Russian-Armenian University Improved its Position in the QS EECA Emerging Europe and Central Asia University Rankings 2020
Russian-Armenian University (RAU) improved its position by 15 points in the QS EECA (Emerging Europe and Central Asia) University Rankings 2020 and is currently at the 185th position compared to last year’s 191-200.
The ranking includes the best universities (TOP 350) from 26 countries in Eastern and Southern Europe, Central Asia, South Caucasus and the Baltic states. The ranking assessment system comprizes a total of 10 factors, such as academic reputation, employer reputation, student/faculty ratio, papers per faculty, web impact and citations per paper, each contributing a certain proportion towards institutions’ overall scores.
Armenia entered the ranking QS EECA University Rankings back in 2017 and was represented by two universities – Russian-Armenian University and Yerevan State University, while the highest-ranked university of QS EECA remains Lomonosov Moscow State University.
First published in 2004, QS World University Rankings is recognized as one of the most-widely read rankings in the world, comprising global overall and subject rankings.
