RAU Professors Participated in Armenian-Italian Scientific Seminar at NAS RA
On January 26, Chief Academic Adviser of Russian-Armenian University Prof. Eduard Kazaryan and Head of RAU Department of General Physics and Quantum Nanostructures and Associate Professor David Hayrapetyan participated in the scientific seminar at the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia, organized in the framework of Italy’s National Research Council delegation’s visit to Armenia. It was organized under the auspices of the Presidents of Armenia and Italy.
President of the Republic of Armenia Armen Sarkissian participated in the scientific event and welcomed the guests by expressing hope that Armenia and Italy will be able to cooperate closely in various areas. President of the Italian National Research Council Professor Massimo Inguscio in his turn mentioned the fact that the Armenian-Italian scientific ties are expanding.
President Sarkissian delivered a report on “Quantum Risk of Global Risk”, while Professor Massimo Ingusho talked about “Revolution of Quantum Technologies for Humanity and the Planet”. Head of the Department of General Physics and Quantum Nanostructures Assoc. Prof. David Hayrapetyan was among the seminar speakers and he elaborated on “Application of Geometrical Adiabatic Approximation for Investigation of Quantum Nanostructures”.
Overall, the speakers - representatives of NAS RA structures, Italian National Research Council, Yerevan State University, Russian-Armenian University, CANDLE Institute and Italian National Institute of Optics, delivered 9 reports.
