RAU Students at Lomonosov Conference 2019


 
On April 8-12, twenty-three students from Russian-Armenian University participated in the XXVI International Research Conference for students and young scholars "Lomonosov-2019", which took place at Moscow State University (MSU), Russia. The delegation, led by RAU Ph.D student Heghine Petrosyan, comprised undergraduate and graduate students who study Natural and Computer Science, Social Sciences and Humanities. They presented their research findings and many of them received awards for the best presentations in their sections. 
 
Two of the students received Diplomas from MSU Rector:
 
Heghine Petrosyan, Department of Mathematics and Mathematical Modeling, received a Diploma for the best report in the section of Mathematics and Mechanics. She received the Diploma from MSU Rector Prof. Victor Sadovnichy. Narek Abelyan, Department of Bioengineering, Bioinformatics and Molecular Biology, was awarded a Diploma for the best report in the section of Bioinformatics. Narek received the Diploma from MSU Rector Prof. Victor Sadovnichy.
 
Susanna Tadevosyan, Department of Telecommunications. The best report in the subsection of Radiophysics (section of Physics).
 
10 more students were awarded with certificates for best reports:
 
Tatevik Gevorgyan and Mariam Petrosyan Department of Medical Biochemistry and Biotechnology. The best poster presentation in the section of Biology, subsection Biophysics and Bionanotechnology.
 
Ani Marirosyan, Department of Russian Language and Professional Communication. The best report in the subsection of Speech Acts in Communicative Contexts: Addressee.
 
Irina Iritsyan, Department of Psychology. The best report in the subsection of Psychology of Management.
 
Alexandra Avakyan, Department of World Literature and Culture. The best report in the section of Modern Russian Literature.
 
Kima Vaneskeghyan, Department of World Literature and Culture. Special prize, a book for the best presentation in the section of Modern Russian Literature.
 
David Sargsyan, Department of Political Science. The best report in the section of Society’s and Government’s Psyche as a Factor of Sustainable Political Development.
 
 Varduhi Gevorgyan, Department of Political Science. The best report in the subsection of Global Political Studies and the Issues of Globalization and Regionalization in the World.
 
Irma Dzhagaryan, Department of Theory and History of State and Law. The best report in the subsection of Theory of State and Law.
 
Garik Gevorgyan, Department of Civil Law and Civil Procedure Law. The best report in the subsection of Private International Law.
 
The “Lomonosov-2019” Conference was held within the International Youth Research Forum "Lomonosov". The Conference comprised 38 sections reflecting the main areas of modern fundamental and applied science. It aimed at encouraging creativity among students and young scientists, involving them into research, developing common educational and scientific platform for young researchers from CIS countries, and helping them establish contact.
