RAU Students Win the II Prize at International Youth Competition of Social Ads “Together against Corruption”
Students of Russian-Armenian University won the II prize at the International Youth Competition of Social Ads “Together against Corruption”. The video ad made by the students from Department of Creative Industries and Department of Film and Television Production (RAU Institute of Media, Advertising and Film Production) Anna Sarukhanyan and Luiza Melkonyan became the second-prize winner among22 thousand short films and posters submitted to the competition.
This year, the competition gathered students from Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kirgizia, Russia and Tajikistan, as well as participants from BRICS states, Brazil, India, China and South Africa.
“We’ve participated in this competition for the second time. Last year we took the second place in Armenia, and this year we’ve represented Armenia at the international level,” mentioned Anna Sarukhanyan.
“The video ad has several layers, but we wanted to focus on the moral aspect of corruption, like sense of conscience and dignity. Both university students and staff contributed a lot to our project, we do feel like one big family at Russian-Armenian University,” said Anna.
The competition "Together against Corruption" was held within the framework of the CIS Interstate Council for Combating Corruption, organized by the RF General Prosecutor's Office.
