Dreaming of learning Chinese and mastering the art of calligraphy?
Then join our Chinese language courses at RAU Chinese Language and Culture Center!
Eligibility and Dates
Learners of all levels, starting with the age of 8, can become enrolled in the courses. New classes begin twice a year: on September 1 and January 8. Please note that the agreement needs to be signed two weeks prior to the start of classes.
Along with teaching the language, the instructors also teach the students the basics of Chinese calligraphy, Wushu and Qigong. At the Center, the students will have a chance to attend lectures on the Chinese language and culture by invited international specialists. Additionally, film screenings in Chinese are organized on a regular basis to make the learning process more efficient and entertaining and help the students learn new vocabulary.
Students of advanced levels are actively involved in research and other activities, including translating Chinese literature, writing articles for conferences, preparing presentations for the Academy of Sciences of Armenia, UN etc., and volunteering for the organizing committee of the annual research conference Confucius Readings.
