The Russian-Armenian University continues to develop fruitful cooperation with its strategic partner, Changchun University (China). One of the many joint projects was a competition for the literary translation of Chinese literature into Russian, aimed at fostering students’ interest in the Chinese language and literature.

According to the results of the competition, RAU third-year student Mary Hovsepyan, majoring in Foreign Regional Studies, won first place in the category “Poetry Translation from Chinese into Russian.” As part of the award, Mary will receive a certificate from the RAU Center for Chinese Language and Culture, as well as a monetary prize from Changchun University.

Such joint projects organized by the RAU Center for Chinese Language and Culture contribute to strengthening academic and cultural ties between Armenia and China while creating new opportunities for RAU students.

We congratulate Mary on her well-deserved victory and wish her continued success in learning Chinese, pursuing translation activities, and developing her academic career.
