RAU master's student was awarded a first-degree diploma in the nomination "For the best public speech" following the conference "Traditions and New Horizons in Civil Law"

    Stella Nersisyan presented a research paper titled “Unfair Competition Related to the Acquisition and Use of Exclusive Rights to a Trademark”

    Stella Nersisyan, a second-year Master’s student in the Corporate Lawyer program at the Russian-Armenian University, presented a research paper titled “Unfair Competition Related to the Acquisition and Use of Exclusive Rights to a Trademark” at the scientific and practical conference “Traditions and New Horizons in Civil Law”, in the section “Law of the Results of Artistic and Engineering Activity as a Tool for Organizing Civil Turnover of Property Rights”. 

    The paper examines cases of abuse of trademark rights intended to restrict fair competition, as well as the challenges in protecting the exclusive rights of lawful trademark holders. The scientific advisor of the research was Director of the Institute of Law of the Russian-Armenian University, Ph.D. in Law, Senior Lecturer Marianna Kalashyan. 

    Following the competition, Stella Nersisyan was awarded a first-degree diploma in the nomination "For the best public speech".

    It should be noted that the conference “Traditions and New Horizons in Civil Law” was organized by the Ural State Law University named after V.F. Yakovlev (Yekaterinburg) on April 23.
