First Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation Ilya Torosov gave a lecture for Armenian students

Ilya Torosov: "I am very happy that the Russian-Armenian University keeps evolving. New sites and laboratories are being created, and the infrastructure is being improved."

On March 29, at the Russian-Armenian University, First Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation Ilya Torosov gave an open lecture. He spoke about economic, social and corporate management.

"The main reason that the climate agenda remains relevant is the public demand for social responsibility of businesses, environmentally friendly cities, and eco-friendly fuels. We understand that this is the future, the growth of the economy and new technologies. It is important for the Ministry of Economic Development, as a regulator of climate policy, to be a driver of effective changes in the field of sustainable development," said First Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation Ilya Torosov.

Karen Avagyan, Director of the “Center for Strategic Development of the Republic of Armenia” Foundation, also spoke at the lecture. He noted that more than 97% of investors around the world conduct an informal assessment of ESG indicators, a structured analysis of non-financial data on companies that are potential investment targets.

After the lecture, Ilya Torosov shared his impressions: "I am very happy that the Russian-Armenian University keeps evolving. New sites and laboratories are being created, and the infrastructure is being improved."

It should be noted that the event was organized by the Russian-Armenian University in cooperation with the "Center for Strategic Development of the Republic of Armenia" Foundation.
