Karen Hakobyan, Head of the Department of Russian Language and Professional Communication of RAU, was awarded the badge "Excellent Student of Education of the CIS"

    The delegation of RAU Institute of Philology and Intercultural Communication took part in the VIII Congress of Teachers and Educators of the CIS member States at the Armenian State Pedagogical University named after Abovyan.

    The delegation of RAU Institute of Philology and Intercultural Communication took part in the VIII Congress of Teachers and Educators of the CIS member states, held  at the Armenian State Pedagogical University named after Khachatur Abovyan on October 3-4. The theme of the Congress is "Education in a changing world: the impact of global realities on the development of education in the member states of the Commonwealth of Independent States."

    The event was organized to develop interstate cooperation in the field of education through the creation of conditions for expanding integration processes, increasing the level of professional mobility of teachers, improving the education system through the introduction of innovations in educational processes, actively searching for new forms and mechanisms of interaction, spreading effective practices for improving the skills of educators, and ensuring the formation of a contractual, legal and institutional framework for cooperation between states-CIS members in the field of education.

    Russian Russian Philology and Pedagogy from the Russian-Armenian (Slavonic) University was presented by RAU Director of the Institute of Philology and Intercultural Communication, PhD, Professor Nina Tatkalo, Head of the Department of Russian Language and Professional Communication, PhD, Associate Professor Karen Hakobyan, lecturers of the Department, PhD, Professor Inna Sarkisyan, PhD.N., Associate Professor Liana Petrosyan and Ph.D., Senior lecturer Marina Kocharyan, who made presentations in section 3 "Pedagogical discourse as the basis of institutional discourse. Teacher of the XXI century. New trends in pedagogy" and section 4 "Transformation of education in the Commonwealth of Independent States and innovative technologies. Modern information and communication technologies in education".

    Within the framework of the VIII Congress of Teachers and Educators of the CIS member States, a ceremony of awarding badges "Excellent Student of Education of the Commonwealth of Independent States" was also held. 

    Karen Hakobyan, Head of the Department of Russian Language and Professional Communication at the Institute of Philology and Intercultural Communication, Head of the Russian Studies Center of the RAU, was awarded the badge "Excellent Student of Education of the Commonwealth of Independent States", which is the highest award of the Council for Cooperation in the Field of Education of the CIS member States. 

    The badge "Excellent Student of Education of the Commonwealth of Independent States" was established by the Council of Heads of Government of the CIS in 2015. It is awarded to employees of educational management bodies, organizations, educational institutions of the CIS member states for their significant contribution to the development of the common educational space and cooperation of the CIS member states, high achievements in the education and upbringing of children and youth.
