Director of the RAU Institute of Media, Advertising and Cinema, renowned writer Karen Markaryan and Head of the Department of Economics and Finance Mariam Voskanyan took part in the celebration of the 270th anniversary of Moscow State University in the State Kremlin Palace. 

"Undoubtedly, the anniversary of Moscow State University can be considered a landmark event of this year. It was a pleasure to participate in the events dedicated to this day. It is important to note that the significance of the education system in general and universities in particular in the economy and development of the country was repeatedly discussed at the event. I think this is also relevant for Armenia. I believe that the greater the awareness of the strategic importance of higher education in the development of science, human capital and the economy of the country, the more positive changes await us in the future," Mariam Voskanyan emphasized. 

An extensive concert program was prepared for the guests by music and choreographic groups of Moscow State University, as well as well-known Russian artists. The hosts of the event were graduates of Moscow State University producer Yana Churikova and actor Valdis Pelsh. 

It should be noted that the list of those invited to the Moscow State University anniversary included 300 university rectors from more than 45 foreign countries, ambassadors and other employees of diplomatic missions of the CIS countries, BRICS, as well as Hungary, Mexico, Cuba, the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, Lebanon, Vietnam and others.
