This interactive lecture will introduce students to the Assessment Center method as a modern and effective tool for evaluating talent and potential. Traditional selection methods—such as résumé screening and interviews—often provide only a limited understanding of a candidate’s real competencies and may lead to less accurate hiring or promotion decisions.
During the lecture, participants will take part in a mini assessment exercise, followed by a discussion and analysis of the observed competencies and behaviors. Through this practical experience, students will learn about the methodology of assessment centers and understand how organizations use this tool to make more informed and objective decisions when selecting candidates.
The lecture is organized by the Department of Management and Business of the IEB of RAU.
