During the session, practical cases will be discussed to demonstrate the key challenges that may arise when searching for and developing a unique market proposition. Cases involving genomic analysis, “smart” shopping carts, promotion management in large-scale retail, and blockchain in business will be used to examine such issues as insufficient market understanding, incorrect assessment of business economics, an underdeveloped value proposition, underestimation of product complexity, and the use of immature technologies.

Special attention will be given to identifying weaknesses in an idea at an early stage, assessing its market potential, and turning an initial concept into a more developed market proposition.

Language of the lecture — Russian.
