RAU School Student Ararat Hovhannisyan Wins International Russian Language Olympiad

    More than 2,000 schoolchildren have participated in the Olympiad, with 46 finalists from Armenia and 79 from South Ossetia.

    Ararat Hovhannisyan, a 10th-grade student at the Russian-Armenian University (RAU) school, secured the  I place in the "Pushkin#225" International Russian Language Olympiad. The final round took place  at the RAU school on October 25.
     
    The Olympiad drew more than 2,000 participants. In Armenia, 46 students reached the finals, while South Ossetia had 79 finalists. The participants completed grammar exercises, solved photo riddles,including some generated using neural networks,and reflected on a given topic. 
     
    As one of the three winners of the "Pushkin#225" Russian Language Olympiad, Ararat will attend the Russian Language and Culture Festival at the "Smena" All-Russian Children's Center (Krasnodar Krai, Russia).

    The "Pushkin#225" International Russian Language Olympiad was held with the support of the Russian Ministry of Education and co-organizers in the participating regions, including the Rossotrudnichestvo office in South Ossetia, the Ministry of Education and Science of South Ossetia, South Ossetian State University, and RAU.
