RAU Hosts Educational Day of the International “Scientists of the Future” Project
The programme featured a plenary session and three thematic sections covering natural sciences, economics, applied computer science, agricultural sciences, and the humanities.
For the second consecutive year, Armenia has hosted the international scientific and educational project “Scientists of the Future”. On November 6, the Russian-Armenian University welcomed representatives of leading Russian universities and research centres, who delivered lectures and master classes for school students, university students, and young professionals.
RAU Vice-Rector for Science, Professor Pargev Avetisyan, welcomed the participants, highlighting the university’s role as an important joint educational and scientific initiative of Russia and Armenia and its longstanding cooperation with the Pushkin State Russian Language Institute.
The programme featured a plenary session and three thematic sections covering natural sciences, economics, applied computer science, agricultural sciences, and the humanities. Participants explored a wide range of topics, including biotechnology, intelligent transport systems, artificial intelligence, modern language studies, and the works of Alexander Pushkin.
The event provided young participants with an opportunity to learn about current research, exchange ideas, and engage directly with representatives of the scientific community.
The “Scientists of the Future” project is implemented as part of Russia’s Decade of Science and Technology, with the support of the Russian Ministry of Science and Higher Education. The Pushkin State Russian Language Institute is the project’s organizer.
