RAU student Arman Gevondyan awarded a scholarship from Amio Bank

The scholarship covers the annual tuition fee.

Second-year Finance student at the Russian-Armenian University, Arman Gevondyan, has been awarded a scholarship from Amio Bank, which covers the annual tuition fee. As part of the Amio Era program, 25 top students from Armenia were selected from 800 applicants. The aim of the scholarship program is to help develop human capital, improve access to educational services, and support successful students from underprivileged backgrounds, among other goals.

It is worth noting that the Amio Era program was implemented in Armenia for the first time. A competition was announced to award scholarships to students of the 1st to the 3rd year. High-achieving applicants were able to receive a year’s tuition compensation from the bank.

It should be recalled that on May 22, 2024, the Russian-Armenian University signed a memorandum of understanding with Amio Bank as part of the Amio Era charitable program. The document was signed by RAU Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Marina Khachatryan and Amio Bank Corporate Center Director Azamat Khakuy.
