On the initiative of the embassy of the People's Republic of China in Armenia and the Center for Political and Economic Strategic Studies, the online discussion on Armenia - China relations was organized on September 15, 2021, with the participation of faculty members and post-graduate students of Russian - Armenian University. The discussion was moderated by the Center for Political and Economic Strategic Studies director, Dr. Benyamin Poghosyan. The Ambassador of China to Armenia, H.E. Fan Yong, made a welcoming speech, emphasizing the significance of further developing bilateral relations. The Doctor of Political Science, Professor Vahe Davtyan, touched upon the main factors in bilateral relations, pointing out the importance of China’s involvement in infrastructure and communication projects in Armenia. Several diplomats of the embassy and post-graduate students presented their views on bilateral relations. The Embassy of the People's Republic of China expressed its willingness to organize future discussions with the Russian - Armenian (Slavonic) University on relevant topics of Armenia - China bilateral relations.
