Students of the Russian-Armenian University have received nominal scholarships, with RAU granting this award to the best.

"We support your scientific achievements, however this award obliges you to be responsible for the success of your university. You must do everything to ensure that RAU continues to reach newer heights," Rector of the Russian-Armenian University Armen Darbinyan told the scholarship recipients.

RAU nominal scholarships in various fields have been awarded to 13 students of different specializations, both in natural sciences and in humanities.

"As an assistant director of the RAU Institute of Biomedicine and Pharmacy, after graduating from our university with a degree in Bioengineering and Bioinformatics, I entered RAU once again for my second degree in 2017. The great lasting love for Japan was my motivation behind it. The scholarship was yet another small victory and an incentive to strive for even greater achievements," said Mariam Alkhazyan, a Master’s student in Foreign Regional Studies (Japanese Studies).

Diana Khoderyan, a Journalism student, could not receive the certificate first-hand, yet she shared her impressions from Moscow: "This academic year is yet another success for me. Thanks to the participation in conferences, scientific publications and the victory in the Winter School of Moscow State University, not only have I received an award from my alma mater in the form of Levon Mkrtchyan honorary scholarship, but I also went to study at Moscow State University for one term. When I entered the Russian-Armenian University, I realized that dreams come true. RAU was full of life even during the lockdown and distance learning. The Department of Journalism has given me a lot - knowledge, acquaintances and ties, best friends, confidence in the future profession as well as understanding of my own strength. I entered RAU in order to get a quality  education, and eventually I got a lot more."
