Leading Armenian and Russian Scholars Participate in the Plenary Session of RAU Institute of Economics and Business
During the session, current issues of sustainable economic growth, the driving forces behind the development of the economies of Armenia and Russia, and other related topics were discussed.
The plenary session of the RAU Institute of Economics and Business, held within the framework of the XIX International Annual Scientific Conference, took place at the Russian-Armenian University on December 1. The event brought together leading Armenian and Russian scholars.
The session was attended by RAU Rector, Professor Edward Sandoyan; RAU Vice-Rector for Research, Professor Pargev Avetisyan; Director of the RAU Institute of Economics and Business, Zhirayr Aramyan; Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Director of the Institute of Economics of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Professor Mikhail Golovnin; Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Director of the Institute of National Economic Forecasting of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Professor Alexander Shirov; Academic Supervisor of the Faculty of World Economy and World Politics of the National Research University Higher School of Economics, Professor Leonid Grigoriev; Professor of the Department of Marketing at the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation, Professor Irina Firsova; and Deputy Director of the Higher School of Service and Trade of Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University, Associate Professor Irina Kapustina.
During the session, current issues of sustainable economic growth, the driving forces behind the development of the economies of Armenia and Russia, as well as new approaches to the analysis of big data and the digitalization of economic processes were discussed.
The plenary session brought together leading specialists in the field of economics, which enabled the participants to exchange advanced experience and discuss key challenges and development prospects in the context of a changing geo-economic environment.
