Mariam Voskanyan, Head of the Department of Economics and Finance of the Russian-Armenian University, presented the interim results of the technical assistance project at the Annual Meeting of the Eurasian Development Bank. The meeting was held in Almaty on June 27-28.

 

The project “Development of Public-Private Partnership Institutional Environment in the Republic of Armenia: Partnership with Higher Education Institutions and Building Competencies in Public-Private Partnership” is implemented on the basis of the RAU Department of Economics and Finance this year.

 

Among the important priorities Mariam Voskanyan emphasized the establishment of a scholarship program for students of “Economics” and “Finance”, the introduction of the discipline “Public-Private Partnership” in the educational process of these directions, as well as the preparation of a country overview on public-private partnership in Armenia.

 

Representatives of multilateral development banks, international organizations, business, scientific and expert circles, professional associations and journalists from different countries participated in the Annual Meeting of the Eurasian Development Bank.
