According to the results of the competition "Program-Targeted Financing of Scientific and Scientific-Technical State Projects" held by the Higher Education and Science Committee of the Republic of Armenia in 2024, the winner was a team of researchers from RAU Institute of Economics and Business.

The project entitled "Study of Exogenous Shocks and Mechanisms for Overcoming Constraints to Economic Growth in the Republic of Armenia" became one of the 9 projects that received funding following the decision of the Government of the Republic of Armenia.

Members of the research team are as follows:
1) RAU Rector, Doctor of Economics, Professor, Professor of the Department of Economics and Finance Edward Sandoyan;
2) Head of the Department of Economic Theory and Problems of the Economy in Transition, PhD in Economics, Associate Professor Irina Petrosyan;
3) PhD in Economics, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Economic Theory and Problems of the Economy in Transition Garik Petrosyan;
4) PhD in Economics, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Economic Theory and Problems of the Economy in Transition Heghine Petrosyan;
5) PhD in Economics, Associate Professor, Associate Professor of the Department of Mathematical Methods and Information Technologies in Economics and Business Aghasi Tavadyan;
6) Lecturer of the Department of Economic Theory and Problems of the Economy in Transition Zinavard Papyan.
It should be noted that the study will be conducted over three years under the direct supervision of the RA Ministry of Finance.
