RAU students won prizes in the Japanese language speech competition
The contestants gave speeches in Japanese and also answered questions by the jury.
Five students of the Russian-Armenian University majoring in Foreign Regional Studies (Japanese Studies) took part in the XIII competition of speeches in Japanese, organized by the Association of Teachers of the Japanese Language in Armenia jointly with the Embassy of Japan in the Republic of Armenia. The competition was held at the V. Bryusov State University on October 4 and brought together students from leading Armenian universities.
The contestants delivered speeches in Japanese and also answered questions by the jury. The experts assessed the originality and depth of the speeches, knowledge of the Japanese language and the ability to correctly express one’s thoughts.
According to the results of the competition, second-year student of the Russian-Armenian University Lora Azizyan came second, and fourth-year student Mary Martirosyan ranked third.
"I would like to express my sincere gratitude for the high professionalism, sensitivity and creation of a warm, kind atmosphere. The competition inspired and motivated me to conquer new heights and master new skills. I will take part again with great pleasure," shared Lora.
It should be noted that the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Armenia, Mr. Yutaka Aoki, was also present at the competition.
