A round table on parallel imports was held at RAU

    Organizers: Department of Civil Law and Civil Procedural Law of RAU, Association of Intellectual Property Lawyers of Armenia.

    A round table on parallel imports, organized by the Department of Civil Law and Civil Procedural Law of RAU together with the Association of Intellectual Property Lawyers of Armenia, was held at Russian-Armenian University on March 29.
     
    The speakers of the round table were PhD in Law, Lawyer Gohar Gevorgyan, Patent attorney and lawyer Vanik Margaryan, Patent attorney and lawyer Alexander Nahapetyan, Lawyer Arthur Buduryan, PhD in Law, lecturer at the Department of Theory of Law and Constitutional Law, judge of the Administrative Court Karen Zarikyan. The round table was moderated by judge John Hayrapetyan, PhD in Law, lecturer at the Department of Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure Law. PhD in Law, Associate professor, Head of the Department of Civil Rights and Civil Procedure Rights of RAU, judge of the Constitutional Court of RA Arayik Tunyan and the member of Commission for the Protection of the Competition Tigran Markosyan also spoke at the event. 
     
    Participants of the round table discussed procedural nuances on issues of parallel import, specifics of considering the arguments in the antimonopoly organ, including issues on protection of means of individualization in the context of legalization from Russian Federation - member-participant of Eurasian Economic Union of the parallel import.
