Students took part in the competition from more than 50 universities from 9 Commonwealth countries.

Angelika Igityan, a third-year student of the Russian-Armenian University in Journalism, became the winner of the competition for the 120th anniversary of TASS. The award ceremony for the winning students from the CIS countries took place in Moscow.

The high-profile award ceremony was attended by Andrey Kondrashov, Director General of TASS, and Efim Pivovar, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Chairman of the Coordinating Council of the Forum of Rectors of Humanitarian Universities and Deans of Humanitarian Faculties of Universities of the CIS member states, who acted as the competition organizers. Students participated in the competition from more than 50 universities from 9 Commonwealth countries. They were supposed to submit an essay on the topic "TASS in information processes in the CIS area."

“The competition became a great opportunity for me to demonstrate my skills. From the very beginning, I felt that this was not just a test, but a platform for self-expression. I was able not only to show my achievements, but also to learn a lot of new things by communicating with other participants. Winning in this competition is not only the recognition of my efforts, but also a motivation to move on, develop and seek to new heights," Angelica shared.

The main prize for the winners was a week - long trip to Mocsow, during which they could familiarize themselves with the work of the TASS headquarters and visit different excursions. The winning students also took part in the celebration of the agency's anniversary at the Bolshoi Theatre.
