Director of the Institute of Oriental Studies of the Russian-Armenian University, Professor Garnik Asatryan addressed a special message to the participants of the IX International Congress in Memory of the outstanding Iranian poet Shahriyar (1906-1988), which was held in Tavriz on September 17.

Within the framework of the congress, Professor Asatryan was awarded the Order of Shahriyar. The award was given at the University of Tabriz.
