RAU and the National Karate Federation of Armenia Set a New Vector for Cooperation

    The parties emphasized the importance of developing sports culture among young people and expressed their readiness to support such initiatives.

    On May 20, the Russian-Armenian University and the Armenian National Karate Federation signed a memorandum of cooperation. The document was signed by RAU Rector, Professor Edward Sandoyan, and the President of the Federation, Vazgen Harutyunyan.
     
    During the meeting, the parties emphasized the importance of developing sports culture among young people and expressed their readiness to support such initiatives.
    "We are investing all our resources to make sports appealing to young people. It will be meaningful for us if you can make use of these resources. The joint initiative with the Federation is of particular importance to us," Edward Sandoyan said.
     
    In his turn, Vazgen Harutyunyan thanked the management of RAU for the productive cooperation: "We will do our best to make our modest contribution to the development of this partnership."
     
    After the official ceremony, a lecture was organized for the university’s students and guests, delivered by sports psychologist Irina Popova. She spoke about the tools and approaches of sports psychology, emphasizing that mental preparation is a crucial resource that helps athletes and coaches act as a unified team and secure advantages in competitions.
