RAU and Siemens strengthen cooperation

    According to the signed document, the RAU team will solve the tasks of optimizing the design of electronic systems.

    The Russian-Armenian University and the German conglomerate Siemens have signed a research grant agreement.
     
    The RAU team has been cooperating with Siemens since 2020 (formerly Mentor Graphics). Even then, Siemens appreciated the high professionalism of the RAU team and noted the importance of further collaboration. According to the signed document, the RAU team will solve the tasks of optimizing the design of electronic systems. Electronic systems design includes a set of software tools to facilitate the development of electronic devices and the creation of microcircuits.
     
    As the Head of the Department of Mathematics and Mathematical Modeling of the Russian-Armenian University Arman Darbinyan emphasized, this cooperation opens up broad prospects for the university related to providing both the university and the country as a whole with highly qualified personnel and increasing the competitiveness of RAU students and graduates in the labor market in the field of robotics and etc.

    It should be noted that Siemens AG works in the sphere on electronics, energetic equipment and medical equipment, as well as specialized services in various spheres of industry, transport, and connection. The concern Siemens AG is presented in more than 190 countries of the world, which makes it, alongside with FIFA (208 national associations) and The Coca-Cola Company (more than 200) one of the leaders among companies and organizations by the geography of presence.
