RAU lecturers represented Armenia at the international scientific-practical conference in foreign languages of RUDN University

    The International Scientific-Practical conference gained young scientists from China, Russia, Armenia, Syria, Vietnam, Afghanistan, Haiti, Dania, Ghana, Egypt, Yemen, India, Jordan, Iran, Cameroon, Côte d'Ivoire, Cuba, Lebanon, Madagascar, and other countries of the world.

    Shushan Melik-Adamyan and Anna Hayrapetyan, lecturers of the Department of Theory of Language and Intercultural Communication of RAU, made presentations at the X annual international scientific-practical conference in foreign languages "Modern paradigm of scientific knowledge: relevance and prospects". The conference was held online on April 6 and was organized by the Agrarian and Technological Institute of the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia.
     
    The annual international scientific-practical conference in foreign languages of the Department of Foreign Languages of the Agrarian and Technological Institute of RUDN University reflects the current issues of scientific research in various fields of science in line with the modern paradigm of scientific knowledge.So, Anna Hayrapetyan spoke on the topic "Developing Speaking and Listening Skills through Digital Storytelling", where she talked about the use of a modern interactive method of teaching English, which increases students' motivation and develops several skills at the same time.  Shushan Melik-Adamyan's report "Implementation of Advanced Grammatical Structures in Academic Writing" was devoted to grammatical structures of the English language for an advanced level.
     
    During the conference, the head of the Department of Theory of Language and Intercultural Communication of RAU, Professor Armine Simonyan also spoke, emphasizing the importance of developing further cooperation between our universities.

    The International Scientific-Practical conference X in foreign languages "Modern paradigm of scientific knowledge: relevance and perspectives" gained young scientists, PhD students, and students from China, Russia, Armenia, Syria, Vietnam, Afghanistan, Haiti, Dania, Ghana, Egypt, Yemen, India, Jordan, Iran, Cameroon, Côte d'Ivoire, Cuba, Lebanon, Madagascar, and other countries of the world. The working languages became English, Spanish, Italian, German, and French.

    It should be noted that a Collection of articles in the publishing house “Languages of nations of the world” based on the materials of the conference is being published with the appropriation of library indexes UDC, LBC, as well as international standard book number ISBN. The works of the conference are intended for the scientific workers, scientists and specialists, students and PhD students with interdisciplinary interests with the aim of usage in scientific and educational activity.  The Collection of articles of the conference is annually indexed in the scientific-metric database RISC (Russian Index of Scientific Citation).
