RAU employees are granted institutional awards of the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia

    On September 15, a ceremony of granting a number of RAU employees institutional awards, honorary diplomas and letters of thanks from the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia was held at the meeting of the RAU Academic Council.

    On September 15, the Russian-Armenian University celebrated its 25th anniversary, but the celebrations were canceled because of the current situation in the country. On RAU day, a meeting of the Academic Council was held, at which the Director of the Department for Coordinating the Activities of Educational Organizations of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, Vitali Grishkin congratulated the entire RAU staff on the 25th anniversary of the university on behalf of the Minister and on his own behalf.
     
    The First Secretary of the Russian Embassy in Armenia, Maria Korotina, was also present at the meeting. This is due to the anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Russia and Armenia being celebrated. 
     
    For 25 years, the university has managed to make a significant contribution to the development of Russian-Armenian scientific and technological, educational and socio-cultural interaction. “The dynamic development of the university is evidenced by the continuous and large-scale improvement of buildings, construction of new facilities, and modernization of the logistical support,” Vitali Grishkin noted.
     
    During the meeting of the Academic Council, a ceremony was held to grant a number of RAU employees institutional awards, honorary diplomas and letters of gratitude from the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia.
     
    "We used to build up our reputation, and now our reputation builds up our career. People know that the Russian-Armenian University offers a high level of education. And we are grateful to the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia for such an abundance of awards and appreciation of our work. I believe that these awards are well deserved by our team and will serve as an additional stimulus for further activities," the rector of RAU Armen Darbinyan highlighted. 
     
    •   Pargev Avetisyan is granted the institutional award of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation for contribution to the implementation of state policy in the field of education and scientific and technological development.
    •   Asya Berberyan is awarded the title of Honorary Employee of Education of the Russian Federation for substantial merits in the field of education and conscientious work.
    •   Vladimir Bondarenko is awarded the title of Honorary Employee of Education of the Russian Federation for substantial merits in the field of education and conscientious work.
    •   Hayk Sargsyan is awarded the title of Honorary Employee of Science and High Technologies of the Russian Federation for substantial merits in the field of science and conscientious work.
    •   Arman Amroyan is awarded an honorary diploma from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation for substantial merits in the field of education and conscientious work.
    •   Karen Hakobyan is officially thanked by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation for substantial merits in the field of education and conscientious work.
    •   Marianna Kalashyan  is officially thanked by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation for substantial merits in the field of education and conscientious work.
    •   Hripsime Margaryan is officially thanked by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation for substantial merits in the field of education and conscientious work.
    •   Edward Sandoyan is officially thanked by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation for substantial merits in the field of education and conscientious work.
    •   Sasun Baghdasaryan is awarded with a Letter of Gratitude from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation for long years of conscientious work and high achievements in professional activities.
     
    It should be noted that prior to the meeting of the Academic Council, rectorArmen Darbinyan made a tour of the sports complex, the park and the new building of RAU for the delegation of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation. Those present also laid flowers on the memorial plaque of the first rector of RAU, academician Levon Mkrtchyan.
     
    The delegation also paid a visit to the monument of A. Griboyedov and that of RAU students who died heroically in the 44-day Artsakh war in 2020.
