Universiade 2024 Brought Together 19 Universities of Armenia
The winners of Universiade were solemnly awarded well-deserved prizes such as cups, medals, and diplomas.
On May 2, Russian-Armenian University hosted the closing ceremony of the interuniversity sport, cultural, and intellectual competition Universiade 2024.
The guests and participants of the event were welcomed by RAU Rector, Doctor of Economics of the Republic of Armenian and the Russian Federation, Professor Edward Sandoyan.
“Universiade was a bright and unforgettable event facilitated by the huge teamwork. I would like to express my gratitude to everybody involved, organizers, professors and students of the universities as well as the supporters, for their active participation in organization and implementation of the events.”
Throughout three weeks the Universiade participants were competing in sport (football, basketball, table tennis, chess), cultural (dance, theater skills, song, social video, KVN) as well as intellectual (What? Where? When?) competitions.
Based on the results of the team scoring, the victory was won by Yerevan State University, followed by Russian-Armenian University and Vazgen Sargsyan Military University, and with Bryusov State University, American University of Armenia, and Armenian State University of Economics holding the third place.

It should be noted that Universiade 2024 brought together 19 universities of Armenia creating a unique atmosphere of unity, competition and friendship, and gave the participants a bunch of vivid emotions and unforgettable memories.
