The European Campus Rottal-Inn of Deggendorf Institute of Technology (DIT-ECRI) invites you to join the DigiHealthDay-2022, an International Scientific Symposium and Workshop series on Digital Health, organized and hosted in cooperation with its regional, national, international and global Partners and Sponsors. We are honored to announce that for this third edition and for the future collaboration we will also be partnering with the World Health Organization’s European Office.

This year DigiHealthDay events in November will be held in HYBRID mode (onsite and live stream). Make an impact on the International Digital Health Community – and support our Ukrainian colleagues! – through SUBMITTING your scientific contributions that will be published jointly by DIT’s Journal of Applied Interdisciplinary Research (JAIR) and the Ukrainian Journal of Medical Informatics and Engineering.

For students, there is an extraordinary chance to win a cash prize for their R&D project, including the thesis work on Digital Health topics. If you are interested, SUBMIT your abstract by September 1, 2022. More detail on the topics and submission is available here.

The pre-meeting DigiHealthDay Workshops that ran from April through July, organized in collaboration with CONEDIG (Consortium of Educational Institutions in Digital Health), had 649 registered participants from 80 countries. The 8 workshops (with 21 sessions over 9 days, to a total of 40 academic hours of teaching), covered topics such as Genome Informatics and Precision Medicine, Pragmatic Research in Digital Health, Data Integration and Interoperability, Clinical Decision Support, Human-Computer Interaction for Digital Health, and Learning Health Systems, with hands-on training provided by international experts. Two more great workshops are planned in October, so stay tuned!

For those seeking to gain firsthand knowledge about the use of Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare from academic leaders in the fields, a specially dedicated 5-day Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme is organized on November 7-11, 2022 at ECRI as a pre-event program by Deggendorf Institute of Technology, University of Agder (Norway), Aalborg University (Denmark), and Luleå Technical University (Sweden) on the topic ‘Explainable and Ethical AI in Healthcare’

The main program of the DigiHealthDay-2022 Symposium on November 11, 2022, will once again include Plenaries, Scientific and Student Sessions, a special EFMI Session, and a Panel Discussion.
