The event dedicated to the Independence Day of Armenia took place in the cultural center of RAU on 19 September. Students of the Linguistic Department prepared an interesting agenda with patriotic songs and traditional dances, which on this special day aimed to alleviate our people’s pain, fill our hearts with faith and hope and emphasize the significance of unity and love for the Armenian land.

“Today we have gathered here to celebrate an important occasion, the Independence Day of Armenia. Students are happy to express profound love for the most important of all values - the Motherland, for our Armenia. Let our country be peaceful, safe and prosperous! Happy Independence Day of Armenia!” – shared Head of the Department of Language Theory and Intercultural Communication Armine Simonyan.

RAU rector, Doctor of Economics of the Republic of Armenia and the Russian Federation Professor Edward Sandoyan and representatives of the university's teaching staff were also present at the event. It should be noted that the event was organized by the Department of Language Theory and Intercultural Communication, Institute of Philology and Intercultural Communication of RAU.
