On September 13-14, the International Civil Forum dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the Department of Civil Law and Civil Procedure Law of the Institute of Law of the RAU was held at the Russian-Armenian University.

The participants discussed issues of private law, modern trends in the development of property law in Armenia and Russia, modern challenges in dispute resolution in arbitration, key issues of civil procedure in the era of digitalization, the dynamics of investment arbitration, copyright protection, legal challenges and opportunities for business and much more. Leading experts in the field shared their experience, considered complex legislative issues and proposed solutions.

As part of the International Civil Forum, RAU Rector, Doctor of Economics of the RA and the RF, Professor Edward Sandoyan and Chairman of the Court of the Eurasian Economic Union Alexey Dronov signed a cooperation agreement. According to the agreement, the parties will hold joint conferences, seminars, forums, round tables, exchange scientific information in the field of law of the Eurasian Economic Union, and also involve judges, officials and employees of the Court to give lectures and conduct practical classes. In addition, RAU students will be able to participate in the Court's internship programs.
