Quantum Girls Event Held at RAU

The Quantum Girls initiative included interactive lectures, discussions, and experimental demonstrations that allowed participants to immerse themselves in the world of science.

As part of the QWAVE (Quantum World: Advancements, Visions and Exploration) initiative, the Quantum Girls event dedicated to women and girls in science was held at RAU on February 11.

Quantum Girls brought together RAU students and schoolchildren, scientists and all those interested in learning more about quantum physics. The event was aimed at popularizing science among young people and promoting the role of women in quantum technologies.

The Quantum Girls initiative included interactive lectures, discussions and demonstrations of experiments that allowed participants to immerse themselves in the world of science. The lecturers, RAU students, prepared fascinating materials that helped explain complex concepts in simple terms.

It should be noted that the Quantum Girls event was organized by the Department of General Physics and Quantum Nanostructures of the Engineering Physics Institute of RAU, EPS Young Minds Programme, Optica and SPIE, the International Society for Optics and Photonics.
