RAU and TvSU organized an online roundtable discussion on the protection of traditional values in family law

    The participants included the students of the Faculty of Law at TvSU, the Faculty of Law at Belarusian State University, and the Institute of Law at the Russian-Armenian University.

    On November 22, the Institute of Law of RAU with the Faculty of Law of Tver State University (TvSU) organized an online roundtable discussion on the protection of traditional values in family law in Russia, Armenia and Belarus.
     
    The participants included the students of the Faculty of Law at TvSU, the Faculty of Law at Belarusian State University, and the Institute of Law at the Russian-Armenian University.
     
    Doctor of Law, Professor and Honored Lawyer of the Russian Federation Olga Ilyina emphasized that in the Year of the Family, special attention is given to family law, which reflects traditional values and holds significance both theoretically and in law enforcement practice.
     
    Albert Barseghyan, a 2nd year student of RAU, captured the audience's attention with his presentation, "Development of Family Law in Armenia". He elaborated on the conditions and obstacles to marriage, as well as the grounds for divorce, highlighting the importance of mutual trust and respect between spouses. Special emphasis was placed on the role of religious norms in preserving traditional family values in Armenia.
     
    Relevant comments were provided by the academic supervisors of the students, as well as by the Director of the Institute of Law of RAU, PhD of Law Marianna Kalashyan.
