Eurasian Development Bank opened a branded lecture hall on Public Private Partnership in RAU

    At this very lecture hall the classes on Public Private Partnership are going to be held - the educational programme has been primarily developed within a frame-work of a project on technical assistance in accordance with international stand-ards and Public Private Partnership market needs.

    Eurasian Development Bank (EDB) continues the implementation of  the project on technical assistance aimed at the development of the institutional environment of Public Private Partnership and competence building as regards Public Private Partnership in the Republic of Armenia alongside RAU.
     
    Within the framework of the project on technical assistance, a branded lecture hall of Eurasian Development Bank on Public Private Partnership, RAU, has been fully furnished and well- equipped with cutting-edge technologies. At this very lecture hall the classes on Public Private Partnership are going to be held - the educational programme has been primarily developed within a framework of a project on technical assistance in accord with international standards and Pub-lic Private Partnership market needs. 
     
    The results for the Eurasian Development Bank Scholarship on Public Private Partnership are set to be announced, with the goal taking shape in providing fi-nancial backing for gifted RAU students, who were found to manifest genuine in-terest in participation in research and expansion of the domain of Public Private Partnership in the Republic of Armenia and EAEU.
     
    “The opening of the EDB branded lecture hall on PPP and granting of EDB scholarships on PPP  are gigantic strides towards the implementation of a project on technical assistance which is believed to significantly heighten interest of future specialists in both the financial and administrative sectors in the Republic of Arme-nia. EDB possesses a vast hands-on experience of funding PPP projects. Thus, be-sides setting the scene for knowledge and competence on PPP, the Bank aims to ensure its competent representativeness at educational programmes on PPP, pass on the experience and share its leading practices among students and lecturers at RAU.” - noted Svetlana Maslova, the director of projects on PPP EAEU. 
     
    RAU Rector, RA and RF Doctor of Economics, Professor Edward Sandoyan, in his turn, issued his heartfelt thanks to the partners and his delight at productive collaboration with EDB.
     
    “Our jointly implemented project has the merit of a fully-fledged and multi-faceted approach towards training of specialists in the field of PPP. The programme en-compasses all the fundamental aspects, including the certification procedure, which allows students to secure requisite skills and knowledge,” - he highlighted. 
     
    “During this year, we have been fulfilling a mutual project alongside EDB on the premises of the Economics and Finance Departments. We have managed to bring to life the lion’s share of the outlined goals, the opening of the EDB lecture hall on PPP included, as well as foundation of EDB scholarship on PPP in 2024 year. The implementation of the PPP discipline at the specialties of Economics and Fi-nance within the frames of Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees is due to start from September this year. Finally, the groundwork for the country's profile regarding PPP in Armenia, which is being brought into action by cooperation with our col-leagues from EDB, sits at a closing stage,” - shared Mariam Voskanyan, Head of the Department of Economics and Finance, RAU coordinator of the EDB project on PPP.
