Representatives of RAU spoke at the 10th International Conference "Intelligent Engineering Economics and Industry 5.0" in St. Petersburg

    Mariam Voskanyan, Head of the Department of Economics and Finance of the RAU, spoke at the plenary session, presenting the report "Assessment of Key Factors in the Development of the Armenian Economy in the Context of a New Geopolitical Reality."

    The RAU delegation participated in the 10th International Network Scientific and Practical Conference “Intelligent Engineering Economics and Industry 5.0”, which took place at the premises of Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University from April 25 to 28. 
     
    Head of the Department of Economics and Finance of the RAU, PhD in Economics and Associate Professor Mariam Voskanyan delivered a speech at the plenary session, presenting the report "Assessment of Key Factors in the Development of the Armenian Economy in the Context of a New Geopolitical Reality.”
     
    Head of the Department of Tourism and Services, Ph.D. in Economics, Associate Professor Armine Aghajanyan, Associate Professor of the Department of Economics and Finance of the RAU Ani Galstyan and postgraduate student of the Department of Economics and Finance Lily Nashikyan also had speeches at certain sections of the conference. They presented their reports within the framework of the project of the State Committee of the Republic of Armenia on the topic "The Choice of Mechanisms for Regulating the Exchange Rate of the Armenian Dram in the Context of New Realities." 
     
    It should be noted that the purpose of the conference is to analyze the current state of the economy taking into consideration external global challenges in the context of a new reality, including the investigation into the problems of forming an intelligent digital economy and digital transformation of sectoral and regional economic systems, studying the features of the platform economy and intellectual ecosystems, as well as developing of proposals and summarizing the results of practical activities in the field of innovation clusters, and more.
