Jamal Al-Musawi, Secretary General of the National Museum of the Sultanate of Oman, visited the RAU

His Excellency Jamal Al-Musawi, Secretary General of the National Museum of the Sultanate of Oman, paid an official visit to the Russian-Armenian University (RAU) on February 13.
During the visit, Jamal Al-Musawi met with RAU Rector, Professor Edward Sandoyan. The parties discussed prospects for further cooperation, the implementation of joint educational and cultural initiatives, and opportunities for academic exchange.
Jamal Al-Musawi, Secretary General of the National Museum of the Sultanate of Oman, also delivered a lecture to Armenian students on the history and culture of Oman. He presented his country's rich historical heritage, discussed key stages in its development, and showcased elements of the Sultanate's cultural heritage. In his speech, he emphasized the importance of preserving national identity and strengthening intercultural ties.
RAU Vice-Rector for Science, Professor Pargev Avetisyan, welcomed the guests and students. He emphasized the university's high educational and scientific potential, as well as the importance of developing international cooperation and academic dialogue.
The distinguished guest was given a tour of the university. He visited classrooms, research laboratories, and the RAU Institute of Oriental Studies, where he learned about the university's main research areas and educational programs.
It is worth noting that Jamal Al-Musawi, Secretary General of the National Museum of Oman, arrived in Yerevan at the invitation of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sport of the Republic of Armenia.
