One-Day Intensive Course in Criminal Law at RAU

On May 29 Russian-Armenian University will host the a one-day intensive Criminal Law course jointly organized by Concern Dialog Law Firm and the Russian-Armenian University, dedicated to modern approaches to the application of preventive measures and defense strategies.
Why participate
The program is structured to familiarize participants with the real-life practice and current challenges related to preventive measures.
During the course, participants will explore the specific features of detention as a preventive measure, its alternatives, and effective defense strategies based on practical experience. Attendees will also have the opportunity to analyze real cases and receive answers to professional questions directly from experienced practitioners in the field.

The one-day course will cover the following topics:
• The first session will focus on the specifics of applying detention as a preventive measure, followed by a discussion on house arrest as an alternative to deprivation of liberty and the related current issues.
• Particular attention will be given to modern approaches to administrative supervision, along with an interactive Q&A session.
• The second part will cover bail and suspension from office as mechanisms restricting property and labor rights, as well as the application of traditional preventive measures under the new legislative framework.
• The course will conclude with a discussion on military supervision and practical assignments.
The one-day course will cover the following topics:
