RAU Professor Vahe Davtyan Among the Prize Winners of the RPSA Contest

    As a result of the competition of the Russian Political Science Association 2023, the study guide Energy Policy, co-authored by Professor at the Department of Political Science Vahe Davtyan, was awarded with the diploma of the third degree.

    As a result of the competition of the Russian Political Science Association 2023, the study guide Energy Policy, co-authored by  Professor at the Department of Political Science Vahe Davtyan, was awarded with the diploma of the third degree.

    As a result of the competition of the Russian Political Science Association 2023, the education guide Energy Policy, co-authored by  Professor at the Department of Political Science Vahe Davtyan, was awarded with the diploma of the third degree. The book was published at the Kazan State Energy University (authors Maksim Milnikov, Olga Yanush and Vahe Davtyan). In the study guide Energy Policy, the main directions, objectives and ways of solving the issues of Russian policy on energy, and national energy security prospects for sustainable development of fuel and energy complex of the country are revealed. Special attention was drawn to the aspects of legal support of the subjects of energy policy at all levels, the characteristics of the implementation of energy strategy in Russia, the energy efficiency of the country’s economy, the reforms in various branches of the fuel and energy complex and stumbling blocks in its ecological and regional development.

    “We have also appreciated the significance of external and internal factors in the development of the Russian fuel and energy complex, analysed the main directions of foreign policy activities and foreign economic activities of the country in the field of the power industry as well as key aspects of energy diplomacy of Russia,” – Vahe Davtyan shared. 
     
    The study guide is designed for Master’s students of all fields and forms of education, participants of the advanced training courses on the issues of energy policy and a wide range of readers interested in political dimensions of energy issues. 

    It should be pointed out that the contest of Russian scientists’ works was organised by RPSA with such nominations as “Scientific works: individual monographs; collective monographs,” “Educational and methodological works,” “Political and journalistic works,” “Integration into the global science” ( works by Russian political experts published abroad), “Interdisciplinary research” ( works at the intersection of political science and other sciences), and “The Debut” ( works by political scientists who are under 28, including students and postgraduates).
