RAU received a subsidy from the Ministry of High-Tech Industry of the Republic of Armenia for the development of UAVs

To implement the project announced by Russian-Armenian University, the Ministry of High-Tech Industry will provide RAU with 20 million drams.

Russian-Armenian University and the Ministry of High-Tech Industry of the Republic of Armenia signed an agreement on the use of financial assistance provided by the state in the form of a subsidy.

To implement the project announced by Russian-Armenian University, the Ministry of High-Tech Industry will provide RAU with 20 million drams.

The main goal of the project is to develop a universal system for building, monitoring and controlling small and medium-sized unmanned aerial vehicles, which will allow one to select the necessary equipment for a specific task; the software will be universal for all configurations. Drones will consist of modules: several alternative physical devices will be provided for each module, depending on the problem being solved.

The project will make it easy to create various small and medium-sized UAVs with their basic software and functions.

The project is being implemented as part of the educational process of two new Master's programs at RAU - "Intelligent Systems and Robotics" and "Wireless Communications and Sensors". 14 students are trained under these programs, with the university allocating monthly scholarships of 200,000 drams.
