Russian-Armenian University expands cooperation with Ural Federal University

    Delegation of Ural Federal University visited RAU to discuss new vectors of cooperation in education and science.

    On February 14, the delegation of Ural Federal University (UrFU) visited Russian-Armenian University to discuss new vectors of cooperation in education and science, strengthening of scientific and methodological ties, development of jointly implemented projects, among others.
     
    RAU Vice-Rector for International Cooperation Sergey Kapinos noted that currently, RAU and UrFU have three basic cooperation agreements. 
     
    “Ural Federal University is one of the most prestigious universities of Russia: cooperation with such a university will benefit everyone. We talked about holding events which would shape the vectors of our cooperation. And we mean not only academic mobility, but also joint research, projects, double degrees and much more”, shared the vice-rector. 
     
    In his turn, UrFU Advisor for International Activities Alexander Burnasov highlighted that the delegation came to present the interests of the Ural Humanitarian Institute of the UrFU: “We discussed interesting projects on oriental studies, international relations, philology, and the Russian language. I hope that this meeting will pave the way for a roadmap, and enhance the cooperation and opportunities for mobility programs between UrFU and RAU.”
     
    It should be noted that the UrFU is one of the leading universities of Russia and is located in Yekaterinburg. The university is a participant in the project of creation of world-class campuses, part of the national project “Science and Universities” implemented by the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia.
