Arsen Hayrapetyan, a second-year student of the Russian-Armenian University majoring in Applied Mathematics and Informatics, won a bronze medal at the European Sambo Championships among youth: he took third place, losing in a tough fight to an athlete from Belarus.

 

The European Sambo Championships among adults, youth, young men and cadets were held in Limassol (Cyprus) from April 22 to 27. In total, the Armenian team won 21 medals in all age categories: 3 gold, 5 silver and 13 bronze.

 

It should be noted that Arsen Hayrapetyan won a silver medal at the 2023 World Championships.
