On May 15, 2025 at the Russian-Armenian University in cooperation with Resolve Academy, was held a seminar on the topic “IT Law: Artificial Intelligence Regulations and Guidelines”. The speaker of the event was Ms. Adelaida Baghdasaryan, Head of the Master’s Program in Law at AUA and Senior Manager and Legal Counsel at Picsart Inc.

 

During the seminar, the following key topics were discussed:
 — Current challenges in IT legal regulation,
 — GDPR and the EU AI Act,
 — International experience,
 — Legal and controversial cases related to artificial intelligence,
 and other important issues.

Participants had the opportunity to ask questions regarding the development of IT law, to understand why AI is not considered a legal subject, and to explore the current global regulatory landscape.
