Yana Yanikyan: “For achieving victories in the future one should always remember about beginning”
The Head of the Master’s program “Strategic communications in advertising and PR”, PhD Yana Yanikyan participated in a prestigious international conference “Marketing 2.0 Conference” in Dubai.
The professor of the Department of Creative Industries of RAU, the Head of the Master’s program “Strategic communications in advertising and PR”, the Head of the Department of Digital Marketing of the advertising agency “Media Systems”, the graduate of the faculty of tourism and advertisement of RAU, the graduate of postgraduate studies “Journalism”, PhD Yana Yanikyan participated in a prestigious international conference “Marketing 2.0 Conference” in Dubai (March 23-25). As a result of the conference, “Media Systems'' was acknowledged as “The best advertising agency of the year”.
“For achieving victories in the future one should always remember the beginning. RAU has become such a trampoline for me. From the beginning I clearly knew where I was going; with each small victory I came closer to my cherished goal. RAU for me is always about aspiration towards something new, better.RAU teaches to constantly improve and develop, to search and find the better version of yourself”, - Yana Yanikyan shared.
Speaking about the advertising agency “Media Systems”, she mentioned that the company has been maintaining its activity in Armenia and outside of it for a long time. “We were able to change many things in the Armenian market of advertisement, trying to create a new culture of interaction between advertisers and agencies. The main principle of our work is constant development in all areas: staff training, development of new technologies and work models".
According to Yana Yanikyan, the qualifying round lasted quite a long time and consisted of several stages. At the first stage, the team presented the history of the advertising agency "Media Systems", and also described in detail the features of the activity, mechanisms of work, technologies and vision of the market development. During the second stage, it was necessary to present specific advertising cases of the agency, implemented in recent years.The final stage was organized to test the qualifications of employees.
"Each award is a huge motivation for our entire team, and such a large-scale event obliges us to always keep the bar high", - Yana assured.
It should be noted that the "Marketing 2.0" conference brought together leading experts in the field of advertising and marketing from more than 20 countries.
