RAU Team Reached the Final of the "100 Ideas for Armenia" Competition
The topic of the application submitted by RAU students majoring in Pharmacy was "Ways of correct collection, storage and further disposal of expired and unusable medicine in the Republic of Armenia".
Students of the Russian-Armenian University majoring in Pharmacy Mane Sahradyan and Peri Ghukasyan and graduate Angelina Harutyunyan took part in the all-Armenian competition of innovative projects and scientific and technical developments "100 ideas for Armenia", organized by the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Republic of Armenia. Under the guidance of Head of the Department of General and Pharmaceutical Chemistry of RAU Anna Grigoryan and associate professor of the department Ruzanna Anisyan, the young people presented their idea in "Green Economy and Technologies", focusing on the biological aspects of sustainable development.
The topic of the application submitted by the RAU students majoring in Pharmacy was "Ways of correct collection, storage and further disposal of expired and unusable medicine in the Republic of Armenia. "The main goal of the project is to create a system that will facilitate the safe destruction and minimization of drug emissions into the environment, as well as the decent collection and storage of expired and unusable drugs for further disposal, focusing on intermediate and final consumers in Armenia.
Based on the results of the selection stages, the RAU team reached the final of the "100 Ideas for Armenia" competition, having already presented a report. The names of the winners will be announced on November 18.
